[getdns-api] Can't build getdns on Debian 7.0.0

Greetings again. I'm trying to build the current library on a Debian 7.0.0 system. However, ./configure always ends in:

checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
configure: Checking for dependency ldns
checking for ldns_dname_new_frm_str in -lldns... no
configure: Checking for dependency libidn
checking for idna_to_ascii_8z in -lidn... no
configure: error: One more dependencies is missing

This is true whether I have installed the libidn11 or the libidn2-0 package from apt-get. What am I missing?
