Willem, I think I just found a small bug in 0.3.1. The getdns_extra.h header file includes these #define statements:

#define GETDNS_VERSION "0.3.1"
#define GETDNS_NUMERIC_VERSION 0x00030000

GETDNS_VERSION is fine, but shouldn't GETDNS_NUMERIC_VERSION be 0x00030100?
